What are the hours of Goodwill Outlet Stores?
All central Indiana Goodwill stores are open from:
Monday-Saturday: 9 a.m.-9 p.m.
Sundays: Noon to 6 p.m.

What forms of payment do the Goodwill Outlet Stores accept?
The outlet stores accept cash, personal checks (with valid photo identification) and Visa, Mastercard and Discover credit cards for payment. The outlet stores also accept gift certificates issued by Goodwill Industries of Central Indiana, Inc.

What is the pricing structure at the Goodwill Outlet Stores?

  • Clothing, accessories, housewares and toys:
    $1.39 per pound for 0-19 pounds
    99 cents per pound for 20-49 pounds
    59 cents per pound for 50 pounds or more
  • Glassware and dishware:
    59 cents per pound
  • Books and media:
    Hardback Books – 50 cents each
    Paperback Books – 25 cents each
    Coloring Books, Magazines, Comics, Wall Calendars – 25 cents each
    Records – 50 cents each
    8-Tracks, Videotapes, CDs – $1 each
    DVDs – $2 each

All other outlet store merchandise is priced as marked.

All Goodwill Outlet Store merchandise is sold as-is. No refunds or exchanges.


Do the Goodwill Outlet Stores accept returns?

The Goodwill Outlet Stores do not give refunds or exchanges on merchandise. All merchandise is sold as-is at the Goodwill Outlet Stores, and all sales are final.

Does the Goodwill Outlet Stores accept donations?
Yes, the Goodwill Outlet Stores accept donations of gently used clothing, household items, furniture, books and toys to sell in one of Goodwill's 36 central Indiana stores or the Goodwill Outlet Stores, and tax receipts are available.  The revenue earned from the sale of donated items helps fund employment and educational services in central Indiana to help people develop the skills they need to find good jobs.

How long do I have to pick up furniture or other merchandise at the Goodwill Outlet Stores once I’ve purchased it?
The Goodwill Outlet Stores' policy, in fairness to all customers, is that furniture and all other merchandise are sold on a cash-and-carry basis only. All merchandise must be removed from the store at the time of purchase.

Do the Goodwill Outlet Stores sell items from their back rooms?
It is against Goodwill's policies for any Goodwill employee to “hold” merchandise in the back room and release it to the floor when certain customers are shopping. It also is against Goodwill's policies for store employees to sell items directly from the back room.

Are Goodwill Outlet Store employees allowed to shop in the stores?
Outlet store employees are allowed to shop in the stores, but they are not allowed to shop during their work shift or to purchase items that have not been on the sales floor for a minimum of two hours.

Employees also are not allowed to ring up purchases that their family members make.
