New Goodwill Store Opens in Lafayette Square Area
The Goodwill Store on Georgetown Road relocated to a larger, more convenient location on Indianapolis' northwest side in January. Designer clothes, brand-name merchandise, books and household items are just a few of the items offered at 4420 Lafayette Road.
“We are excited about our move to our new Lafayette Road location,” said James Rose, Goodwill store manager. “Shoppers will enjoy the convenience and size of the new location, which will allow us to accept a larger volume of donations and sell more merchandise to support our mission of helping people find jobs.” |

The new store employs 30 people and boasts 16,909-square-feet, three checkout lanes and a donation drive-thru center. Hours for the new store are 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and noon to 6 p.m. on Sunday.
Goodwill accepts a variety of donations including gently used clothing, shoes, housewares, furniture, toys and books. Donations to Goodwill are tax deductible, and receipts are available upon request.

The Columbus Goodwill Store packed up the merchandise and changed its address to a larger location in the Columbus community in January. Designer clothes, brand-name merchandise, books and household items are just a few of the items to be offered at 980 Creekview Drive.
The new Goodwill store, located in the former Total Fitness of Columbus building, boasts 21,000-square-feet, which is more than double the size of its former location in Columbus Center. In addition, the store has four checkout lanes and a donation drive-thru center and employs 35 people. Hours for the new store are 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and noon to 6 p.m. on Sunday. |

The Kokomo Goodwill Store relocated to a larger, more convenient location in the Kokomo community in December. Designer clothes, brand-name merchandise, books and household items are just a few of the items offered at 2258 E. Markland Ave.
“We are excited about our move to the new facility,” said Amelia Jackson, Kokomo Goodwill store manager. “Shoppers will enjoy the convenience and size of the new location, which will allow us to accept a larger volume of donations and sell more merchandise to support our mission. Overall, the new store will allow us to have a stronger presence in Kokomo.” |
